Long Wikipedia

Jack Spinner is the name that I used as a Disc Jockey as far back as 1949 when I became fascinated by radio and later television. After my graduation from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, I worked with a venture capital firm to acquire six television stations which I ultimately sold in 1994. Young Americans today face increasing competition from foreign countries. 20 years ago I saw this coming when I visited the former USSR prior to become what I know today as Russia rather than the USSR. Jack Spinner was my public personality as a disc jockey to therefore the name has been aborted. I love Wikipedia for it is far more convenient than using a local library.
