According to the Vietnamese Law on Intellectual Property (Law No. 50/2005/QH11; See translation), Article 15, alinea 2, "Legal documents, administrative documents and other documents in the judicial domain and official translations of these documents" are not subject to copyright protection. According to the decree No. 100/2006/ND-CP of September 21, 2006, this includes "documents issued by state agencies, political organizations, socio-political organizations, sociopolitical-professional organizations, social organizations, socio-professional organizations, economic organizations, people’s armed forces units and other organizations defined by law".
