Usage

If the file is your own work, you can add one parameter to tell under which free license you allow the image to be used if in some jurisdiction(s) the image will be protected by copyright. For example: {{PD-ineligible|PD-self}}.
If the file is someone else's work and was previously licensed differently then you can add parameters to tell under which free license the image can be used if in some jurisdiction(s) the image will be protected by copyright. For example: {{PD-ineligible|license|Username|language code of the Wikipedia version}}.
Specific PD-ineligible tags

- For chemistry structures use {{PD-chem}}.
- For logos use {{PD-textlogo}}
- For simple text (non-logo) use {{PD-text}}
- For SVG representations of an ancient script use {{PD-ancient-script}}.
